„Immer wieder sonntags“ stehen die Damen auf dem Spielfeld. Laut Maja sind wir heut „round my hometown“. Zudem ist es „the final countdown“ bevor die Saison sagt „goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend“. Jeder hatte „a feeling, that [heute] ‘s gonna be a good day“. Und so hieß es „let’s go down to the tennis court and“ spielt die erste Runde. Der Ball sagte sich heute „the future is in the air. I can feel it anywhere. I’m blowing with the wind of change“. Die „Ladies in [a] red“ Rock waren „on fire“ in der ersten Runde. Kaum ein Ball ging „Boom boom into the“ Netz. Es folgten die nächsten Spiele und die Mädels „got addicted to a losing game“. Die Doppel waren „so close no matter how far. Couldn’t be much more from the heart. Forever trusting who we are and nothing else matters“. Irgendwann hörte man Nici rufen „she’s got it, baby she’s got it“. Der Klassenerhalt war geschafft. „The winner takes it all (zumindest zwei von drei Doppeln) the loser’s standing small“. Die Freude war groß und Lea sagte „Lass[t] uns tonnenweise Torte fressen (Schnitzel ging ja nicht!), Champagnersorten testen und versuchen die Sterne mit Sektkorken zu treffen“. Die Saison war geschafft!
